Arrive In Belize City

Your journey begins at Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE), Belize's primary international airport. With direct flights from major cities across North America, traveling to Belize has never been easier. When booking your flights, please keep your arrival time in mind to ensure you can connect to your transportation to Dangriga.

For commuter flights, arrive in Belize City by 3:00pm.
For the Muy'Ono Explorer, arrive by 11:30am.
International airfare is not included in the all-inclusive package.
A valid passport & proof of return or onward travel are required.

Boat To Thatch Caye

If arriving by commuter flight, you'll be greeted at the Dangriga Airstrip and escorted to the dock at Pelican Beach Resort via a two-minute transfer. Guests on the Muy'Ono Explorer are dropped off directly at the resort, where your complimentary boat transfer to the island awaits. If you arrive early, relax with a meal or cocktail at the beachfront restaurant.

Round-trip boat transfers are included with the all-inclusive package.
Daily departures from Pelican Beach Resort are at 2:30pm & 4:30pm (subject to change).
The boat ride to Thatch Caye is approximately 35 minutes.
The island is located 9 miles off the coast of Dangriga.

Travel To Dangriga

Dangriga is the closest mainland town to Thatch Caye and serves as the departure point for your private island transfer. Guests can choose between a commuter flight or van ride from Belize City to Dangriga. Our team is happy to assist with arranging your transportation.

Commuter flights offer a quick 15-minute flight along the coastline.
Muy'Ono Explorer is a van transfer with a welcome drink & pit stop.
Guests can also rent a car & drive to Dangriga.
Local transportation is not included in the all-inclusive package.
