“Wonderful, relaxing, intriguing”
We were four of a total of six guests on this private island resort for the first part of our visit. Even after that, when the resort filled up to its maximum of 20 or so guests, it felt uncrowded and we felt well taken care of. The casita and its hammocks were perfect for afternoon relaxing; the island has a few good swimming beaches and snorkeling areas; the food was reliably tasty and healthy. We took three great snorkeling trips to the barrier reef - lots of coral and a big variety of fish. The land trips the resort arranged for us were good adventures (but bring bug spray and Avon skin so soft if you tour the inland jungle. Best of all were the people that own, run and staff the resort - knowledgable, friendly, always available. We enjoyed hearing about the designing and building up of the island and resort, and the details about keeping it going. Meeting the other guests was fun as well.
