Scuba Diving

Package Length: 7 nights*

Explore underwater Belize on the Scuba Diving Package! Discover the Belize Barrier Reef and see a multitude of coral formations, brightly colored fish, and underwater surprises.

Romantic Getaway/Honeymoon

If your Vacation Plan calls for complete rest and relaxation, then this package is for you! There is no schedule to follow, no deadlines to meet! Enjoy leisurely meals at Thatch Central, read a book on the dock, relax in your hammock as it sways with the cool ocean breeze, kayak the smooth ocean water, and explore all that Thatch Caye has to offer without ever checking your watch.

Private Island Rental

Thatch Caye welcomes groups of up to 24 to join us at Thatch Caye for a private island getaway.   Enjoy meals together in the dining palapa choose from our menu of mainland and marine adventures to create a package just for you.

The island can accommodate 24 guests as follows:

Four casitas can sleep 8 adults total (double occupancy)
Five cabanas can sleep 10 adults total (double occupancy)
The family villa can sleep 6 adults total (two double occupancy cabanas + central common area with queen futon)

The Chabil Mar Experience

THE ITINERARY

Upon arrival in Belize, you will be whisked off for a brief 15 minute flight to Dangriga, where a personal representative of Thatch Caye Resort will greet you and take you to their dock for the short 20 minute ride to this hand crafted Island where you’ll savor the sunrise and star filled nights in your Over Water Cabana. Enjoy your welcome drink and enjoy relaxing on the two beautiful beaches! World Class Snorkeling, Scuba, and Fishing are at your doorstep and sea kayaks are available to explore the many cayes and mangrove habitats close by

Following your three nights of island life, you will return to Dangriga for a fifteen minute flight south to Placencia Village, and be escorted to your Luxury Villa at Chabil Mar for four more nights of Belizean Bliss. After settling into your lovely Luxury Villa, complete with complimentary welcoming flowers, Belizean chocolates and bottle of champagne, you may wish to unwind on your personal verandah, take a swim or relax among beautiful gardens poolside, before enjoying a candlelit dinner at Café Mar, the beachside and pier restaurant

***(Footnote:  All meals are included during your stay at Thatch Caye Island Resort while the Chabil Mar portion intentionally does not include 2 dinners and 1 lunch.   Additional meals have intentionally not been included in the package as you are encouraged to take advantage of Chabil Mar’s premier location and enjoying the traditional fishing Village of Placencia, where you can visit shops and restaurants and experience the culture of Belize.  Placencia is a ten minute beach walk or a five minute bike, kayak or golf cart ride away.

Hotel Policy

Thatch Caye Resort offers romance and adventure.   We request that all guests are a minimum of 18 years of age unless a part of a private island rental.

Reservation Policy

Thatch Caye Resort requires a 50% deposit at the time of confirmation. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival Thatch Caye Resort accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Cancellation Policy

> 90 days before arrival – 100% refund of deposit*

31-90 days before arrival – forfeit 50% deposit*

< 30 days before arrival – forfeit 100% of payment*

*$100 Administration Fee applies to all cancellations
