Thatch Caye Resort has just added two scuba tank compressors, 60 tanks, 40 bcd's, 30 regulators, 100 fins, 50 masks and snorkels, weight belts, lead weights, and wetsuits in addition to our six boats and multiple dive instructors! Thatch Caye is your ultimate destination for scuba diving in Belize!

Or it may be that you prefer to Fly Fish for the fish of a lifetime...the PERMIT!! Whatever your target may be, we can assure you will put you into the fish you are seeking. The always exhilirating bone fish love to hang out right in our marina, along with the Barracuda.

Thatch Caye also offers game fishing for big game like marlin and sailfish as well as bonito, kingfish, mahi mahi, and wahoo.

Snorkeling gear is available to explore the second largest barrier reef in the world. At Thatch Caye you can snorkel right from our dock or hop aboard one of our top notch boats and take a short boat trip out to one of many world renowned snorkeling destinations.

Full day mainland tours include transportation to and from Thatch Caye Resort, packed picnic lunch, tour permit fees and services of a tour guide. Mainland tours require a minimum of 2 people.

Wear comfortable shorts or long pants, you must wear hiking boots or tennis shoes (no flip flops), bring bug spray, a hat and sun block.
