It was an amazing morning as we flew over turquoise water on our way to the nearby reef.
Alben(in red) explained about the surrounding Caye’s, and local folklore.
We motored by secluded beach’s and exotic caye’s on our way to the second largest barrier reef in the world.
Fifteen minutes later we dropped anchor with no other boats in site, alone. Alben gave us the run down on what to expect and what not to touch.
Everyone prepared to jump into the blue abyss…
The reef was nothing short of spectacular with many varieties of coral and fish.
A large Grouper(center left image) tried to hide. The reef was teaming with life.
45 minutes later it was time to return to the boat and re-hydrate.
Cruising back to Thatch Caye we passed by the Ragga Muffin Sailboat from Caye Caulker.
Just another day of adventure in paradise with Thatch Caye Resort.
