Welcome back Thatch Caye!

All of my Caye Catcher posts for the past 4 months have detailed the effects of Tropical Storms and Hurricanes on a fragile Belizean Island but, today, we celebrate a new season with an improved Thatch caye! The island is spotless, the beaches are expanded and the new Dive Center is alive and kicking. We’re completing a new Sunset palapa in the next week and will have our overwater Starfish Bar open soon after.
The Great Western Reef is still pristine and our resident water baby (Chico) reports the rare event of swimming with a school of Manta Rays with 12 foot wingspans! Thatch is back, so come join us for all the memorable adventures that belize delivers!
